The Sunshine Blogger Award #2 and #3

I would like to thank Emily @ FrappesandFiction for nominating me for the Sunshine Blogger Award! She posts amazing book reviews and bookish posts and I’d definitely recommend it to all fellow bookworms!

I would also like to extend my gratitude towards Seamless Echo for nominating me for another Sunshine Blogger Award! They post authentic and insightful write ups; so please make sure you check it out if you haven’t already!

Rules:

1.Thank the blogger who nominated you and link back to their page so others can see how amazing they are, too!
2.List the rules in the post and the badge somewhere on your website
3.Answer the 11 questions you got asked
4.Nominate 11 new bloggers for this award and let them know
5.Ask the nominees 11 new questions!

Her questions and my answers:

1.What is your favorite thing about reading?
I love how reading just transports me to a world of my own. The freedom and that feeling of living the perfect life, even if it is only for a moment, I love that.

2.How would you describe your blog niche?
Completely random and bookish with some weird graphics. And maybe, a little awkward too.

3.What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Butterscotch, maybe?

4.If you could travel anywhere right now, where would you go?
Ever since I read a few Dan Brown books, I’ve been wanting to go to Rome and see the places described in his books.

5.How are you coping with quarantine?
I was an introvert before any of this happened, so I’m pretty comfortable with staying at home and not having to go to school. But I feel guilty of that every time I watch the news. I hope things go back to normal soon. Comfort at the cost of lives is not comfort at all.

6.What is a genre you don’t like to read/don’t generally pick up?
Romance. I don’t mind when romance is an element of a book. Obviously, it can’t be avoided because love is a crucial aspect of human lives. I only hate it when romance is the basis of a book.

7.What is your favorite thing about yourself/your life?
I’m not enslaved to the standard society/peers has set for itself/themselves. They try to meet expectations and achieve goals because everyone is else doing it not because they want to. Or atleast, I like to believe I’m not.

8.How long have you been blogging?
I opened an account a year ago but started actual blogging about 6 months ago.

9.What is the best post you have written? Drop a link.
I don’t really know. But I like ‘Just A thought‘ from my primary blog, probably because it was among my first posts here.

11.Iced coffee or hot coffee?
Hot coffee but I wait for it to cool down before I drink it. So, warm coffee?

10.What is the best book you had to read for school?
None. Most schools here don’t require students to read any particular book other than textbooks. I even have classmates who don’t know who Enid Blyton is. My heart goes out to those poor souls who consider reading boring.

Here are Seamless Echo’s questions and my answers:

1. What embarrasses you the most and/or what’s been your most embarrassing moment?
Not knowing something I should embarrasses me the most.

2.Who do you look up to the most, and what qualities do you love about that person?-
I don’t look upto any one person. I look upto so many people for qualities unique to them.

3.What would be your perfect day?
Rainy day when school has been cancelled and I have the perfect book to read!

4.What’s your biggest fear?
Failure.

5. How do you like to be comforted when you’re sad or upset?
I prefer to be left alone.

6.What’s your all time Happy Memory?
The day my parents finally got me a dog! He is a four year old Pug and his name is Willy!!

7.What’s your favorite thing you own and why ?
All my books!

8. Who was the last person who made you cry and why?
No one, lately.

9.Where do you hope to be five years from now? Ten, fifteen?
Hopefully doing a job I love and not regretting any of my choices.

10.If money was no object, what would I buy?
Books!

11.When have you felt the most proud?
