Hey guys! I found this very interesting tag over at Kathy’s blog @katiescottage books and thought I’d do it! There weren’t any rules mentioned so let’s get on with it!
Adaptation Snob ~
Do you always read the book before seeing the movie?
I definitely try to! But there are times I’ve watched the movie first because I didn’t know it was a book. I started Harry Potter with the movies, I didn’t realise it was a series until I was about 9 or 10.
Format Snob ~
You can only choose one format in which to read books for the rest of your life. Which do you choose: physical books, ebooks or audiobooks?
Physical books, all the way! I have nothing against audio books or ebooks. In fact, about 80% of the books I’ve read so far in 2022 were ebooks. But if I had to choose, I’d go with physical books. Nothing beats the warmth and comfort they bring.
Genre Snob ~
You have to ditch one genre never to be read again in your life, which do you ditch?
Ooh that’s an interesting question. I hardly ever read romance or self-help books. I think I’d ditch romance because I might turn to self-help books later in life, haha!
Uber Genre Snob ~
You can only choose to read from one genre for the rest of your life, which genre do you choose?
Ahh, that’s hard. I think science fiction thrillers? My favourite genres are sci-fi and mystery so any book that has an overlapping between them works for me any day!
Community Snob ~
Which genre do you think receives the most snobbery from the bookish community?
I don’t know, really.
Snobbery Recipient ~
Have you ever been snubbed for something that you have been reading or for reading in general?
Not so far, haha! I’ve been teased for my reading but nothing too serious or offensive, thankfully. Now that I think of it, I was made fun of for reading Noddy in the fourth grade.
All of you! I’d love to read your takes on the above prompts!
A huge thank you to Katie for the tag! And with that said, see you next week! Happy reading!
